Recent acquisitions for the heritage fund of the University of Barcelona.

Showing the recent work of young artists from the Sant Jordi Faculty of Fine Arts, selected to form part of the heritage collection of the University of Barcelona, ​​should not be the singular option of a curator who, with his personal proposals of style or concept, points the right path, but rather a joint task of extension and promotion.

The selection and acquisition of work that is regularly carried out aims to be the annual harvest of a center with a desire to intervene in its environment, the vintage that brings together the fruits of the harvest of the different vines, the characteristic varieties of the grape, the yeasts and the winery that hosts them.

A specific time and its meteors, the goodness of the plowing, and the space becomes joy, new color. The vintage has given the painting (cracked, darkened, cracked), the engraving, the photography and the drawing that play with each other in the four corners searching for all the possibilities of their spaces, while the sculpture becomes an anonymous toy fait divers and is domiciled in everyday life.

Newcomers are good to taste away from the academic routine and hidden from canonical genius.
