LA RODA – VALL DE BOÍ – ERILL LA VALL (ALTA RIBAGORÇA)
Erill la Vall, 2014 – Xavi Farrera’s hut (Alta Ribagorça)
Intervention carried out for the Erill la Vall fallas.
The work became an ephemeral art action, as the piece had seven points of fire, caused by the container made of cow horns filled with paraffin.
The circle was made up of walnut logs, so the fire consumed the wood naturally.
Each element of the installation had a meaning linked to the origin of the fallas in Alta Ribagorça: the rotllana, the goatskin, the cow horns and the boxwood cross at the back evoked the roots and tradition of this festival.
I exhibited the sculpture in front of the public who were witnessing the fallas of Erill la Vall.
